The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread

I had the HANDS DOWN best goddamned BLT I've ever had in my life yesterday. The Bad Waitress uses Boar's Head meats. Their bacon is TO DIE FOR. Thick cut and crispy, well cooked. Served on sour dough bread with tortilla chips. :D

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
26 April 2009 @ 01:17 pm
Sunday last, we had epic BIG MAGICAL BURRITO night at el Manfort for the Final SPS. It was bittersweet. I think Adam (Ryan's brother) enjoyed the burritos the most. Things ended pretty early.

Monday, I got a phone call from my client at 8am, saying that she wouldn't be needing me, since her mother was going in for heart surgery. Jess and I went for the workings out, so that was nice. Monday was also my first day at my new job! I took it easy after the workings out so I could get ready and rock the house. :)

Tuesday, got up and worked out with the Wifey. After the workings out, I called Lila to let her know I wouldn't be able to keep working for her. The workings out plus the new job are just too much! :/ The Wifey and I went thrift store shopping. I got three pairs of pants and four fancy dresses (from various locations) for $60. EPIC. Had another successful night at the pantswerk. :D Post werk, I headed out to the Arden B for a nice night in. :)

Wednesday, left the Arden B around 4pm so I could be home in time for guests to arrive. We held the first portion of the final SPW over here. I think things went over well. It was just like the original days, when people all brought tasty noms to share. EVERYONE dressed up! I couldn't believe how GOOD everyone looked! :) The party ended over at Ryan's around midnight or so. I know it didn't go late. Six straight months of partying with only two weeks (Christmas Eve and NYE both fell on Wednesdays in 2008) off really does a person in. I'm still super stoked for SPW at the Casa de Pantalones come fall 2009. :)

Thursday, Jerry and I slept in. We were supposed to go work out, but we totally didn't make it. We did, however, make it to Obento-ya for lunch with the Pantswife and Amanda. Epic times were had on the bus ride back home--I got off to buy flowers, then managed to make it back on the same bus for the ride back to Jessica's place! I had a lovely walk home with just enough time to get ready for another exciting night at the Ab. :) Post werk, I scooted to the Arden B and picked up Taco Bell on the way. They discontinued the spicy chicken. We need to make phone calls, people. I am NOT a happy camper. >:( Stayed up way too late, as per usual. :P:

Friday, Jerry and I got up around 11 or so to start some work on his place. I am such a nice girlfriend! ;) We prepped the kitchen for painting by emptying out the hutch and taping the borders that needed taping. I headed back to Minneapolis around 3pm so I would have time before the pantswerk. I saw a BEAUTIFUL bride and her groom taking pictures with a couple of attendants in tow at Powderhorn Park on my way home. I love weddings SO much! :) I could seriously smell her flowers for blocks. They were so fragrant! Had a wonderfully successful night at the Ab, and my friends even came to see me! Big thanks go out to [info]luno, [info]damncutekitty and [info]lisianthia and her two friends. I love nothing more than to have friends come and request my section of tables. :) Jess, Crystal and I hit up the Red Dragon for a round of shots after werk. We also got a pizza that I ended up eating most of, since I hadn't really eaten the entire day. Whoops!

Saturday, I overslept. I think I set an alarm, but I totally slept through it or turned it off if I did. I called Tiff in a panic at 10:20 and got there by 10:40. I told her that IF for some reason she decided to NOT fire me today, would she please promise to do it if I'm late again?! I felt sooooo bad! :( Jess and I worked out, then ran a few errands. I got tasty granola bars at Lund's, and we bought tasty things at Rainbow. I only had a little bit of time before my big, bad, food running shift at 6pm. I was only at werk till 9pm (which was super nice!) and then walked home. Jess considered coming over, but I got to take a much needed nap instead. :) Jerry came over slightly after midnight, and we ended up staying up till after 4am. Greh, no wonder I feel like I could--and potentially will--fall over at any moment. Whoops!

Sunday, I set three alarms with the hope that I would get up on time. I totally did! Jerry lent me the use of his car for the slick ride Downtown. That was really nice, because then I didn't have to get all geared up and psyched up to go DT in the rain. :) I filled up his gas tank as a thank you. :) I convinced him that he needed to go to brunch with us at the Ab. It was strange not working while I was there! Claire, Jess and Crystal joined us, and we spent much time talking about CVG09. That makes me happy. I just hope I can get the days off!

That leaves us where we are now. I'm falling asleep, full as a tick and sleep deprived, and needing a nap. I'm headed to the Arden B tonight. See you all on the flip side. :)

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
29 March 2009 @ 11:21 pm
As per my usual, I've been keeping busy. I seriously feel like I've lived through about a week in the last two days!

Saturday: Got up with the intention of going to the post office to mail off some stuffs. Got to the post office and realised that I left what I wanted to mail on the kitchen table. Whoops! Got Tiff up, went and worked out with the Wifey. We had some nice chats and some nice workings outings. As I was finishing up, I got a hold of the Pantsmom. They were at the airport picking up Doug! I told them that if they felt like picking me up for some lunchie munchies that I would love to see everyone. They said they would get me and we'd go to Red Lobster. Awesome!

As Jess and I were parting ways, some people in the club room (right next to Tiff's workout room) invited us in for some cocktails. Jess declined, but I said I'd stop by after my shower and before leaving for lunch. They all had strange nicknames, and were impressed by my moniker of Pants. They thought I made it up on the spot! :P

I had to bail fairly quickly, as Mom, Doug and Darin were waiting for me outside. Doug brought me a super cute tea set from Japan! Last time he went, I asked for tea cups--I got sake cups. :P We had TASTY TASTY FOODS at Red Lobster. I tried the coconut shrimp and scallops with bacon (yes I have pictures) and they were great! My meal consisted of wood grilled jumbo garlic butter shrimp, and shrimp scampi. I was in HEAVEN, my friends! I need a good piece of bakeware so I can make my own scampi! :P

After lunch, Mom dropped me off at Lyndale, just off of 94. I had a bus pass, and the weather was nice enough, so I didn't mind. :) Things went a little sour, but I rebounded nicely. I took a shower, got all geared up, and went to Meeeeeguel's place to get my scooter. :) I am so happy when I can scoot!

I was supposed to go to [info]jbru's place for an interview with Ericka, but time did NOT permit. Dinner and wine with the Wifey commenced at 7pm, and I had to be ready. Doug coming home threw a wrench in my schedule, but it was worth it. :) Thanks for being flexible, Peter!

Dinner was fun. The hosts had the CUUUUUTEST baby and a really nice little house. They also had the BEST hummus in the whole wide world. I can see a tub of that in my immediate future! :) We tried many tasty wines, many of which we sell at the Vesc. That was nice to try what I should be more familiar with.

Post dinner, we went to Jessica's studio for the SLEEPOVER! Jess, Tiff, Crystal, Jerry B, Joe, Claire and myself were all in attendance. Cosmo was read, White Castle was procured,m toenails were painted, games were played, food was eaten, and an all around good time was had by all. I can't wait to do this again! Hopefully, next time we will have much more padding on the floor. I can't vouch for the rest of you, but I won't be sleeping on a hard floor again any time soon. :P Claire put sponge rollers in my hair for Sunday morning's brunch. WOO!

Sunday: We had stayed up till 5am, and got back up at 10. Not a whole lot of sleeping happened, but it was alright. What's one night's sleep compared to the months of missed sleep at this point? :P We took our sweet time waking up and packing. Some of Jessica's neighbors in the studio building were amused to see a bunch of sleepy eyed slumber party attendees piling out at such an hour. I'm just glad they weren't mad!

We got to Abilene right on time for our reservation. The original ten that we planned for exploded into eighteen! We had such a blast! Jerry B and I got $5 gift cards for our curlers in the hair. Hello, brunch next time! :) [info]mmesgirl and her hubby showed up. I'm so glad they could make it, and I'm really bummed that we all had to leave so soon after they arrived. I hope to see them both again soon.

I had just enough time to get home, load the sleepover gear back into my place, take a speed nap, and get to werk. Rushing as I did, I was still 15 minutes late to werk. :( Oh well. I made good money and got off earlier than expected. I'm glad I got to scoot there and back. I also made it to the post office before going home. I will get paid on time from MILS this time around! YAY!

When I got home, I was freezing and didn't really want to scoot to and from SPS. Asian Dan was kind enough to come pick me up. That was so sweet! :) A good time was had by all, and the party broke up just a little bit ago. I think most of us are still a little worn out from all of the goings-on of the past two days. :P

I can't wait to find out what Monday has in store for me! :D Hope you all had a great weekend, too!

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
20 March 2009 @ 02:14 pm
Monday, Jess and Crystal came and helped me clean. Tuesday, I waffled back and forth as to whether or not I should pick up my scooter. Wednesday, I worked 10:30-5, and then PICKED UP MY SCOOTER! I'm so happy. :D

I scooted on over to SPW for my 'grand entrance' at 7pm. Ryan and Peter were the only two there. :P Oh well.

SPW was a reasonable success, at least in my mind. BACON was the theme, and lots of tasty items were brought. Tiff got some fakin' bacon. Tasted like beggin' strips, srsly. DO NOT EAT. I got some crazy Mexican bacon. It was extremely finely cut. Tasty business! :) Ryan made a few omelets with his plethora of eggs. They looked really good!

Dave helped me bring my xbox home. I'm so happy it's here again! Eric, Bertine's brother, said that we could use his xbox for the time being. What a swell guy! We owe him big time. :) SPW and SPS will not die!

I worked all day Wednesday, left at 5, and got my scooter. Worked again all day on Thursday, left around 5, scooted around town. Had dinner with Jerry B. We ate Los Ocampo. I <3 me some Chicken Tinga. I'll have to make my own one of these days. I'm a decent cook when it comes to Mexican food. :)

Today, Mom called at the ungodly hour of 9:30am. It was probably for the best--I've been awake and productive ever since. Wifey and I ellipticalled together. I walked home from her place. Called Meeeeeguel. I'm off to have a shower, do more laundry, eat some lunch, and hang out till Darin comes over. What a nice Friday!

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
23 February 2009 @ 11:24 pm
We left off, dear SBj fans, at 4am last Thursday. How do I manage to pack so much stuff into my days?! :P

Thursday, I didn't actually end up falling asleep till 6:30am. I don't know why. I just couldn't sleep. I was NOT a happy camper when 9:30am rolled around, and I had to get up and catch a bus. >:( Work was fine. We actually got busy, and I made some decent $$! That's always a nice bonus. My replacement didn't show up till nearly 5:30, as per usual. I hope they figure out that her tardiness affects everyone else in a major way. Javier was nice enough to stick around and give me a ride home. I really appreciate that, even if Javier is a little creepy. We sat in his car and had a nice chat until I was falling asleep in his car. I then hopped upstairs, took a fast shower, and mah Wifey picked me up to go see Crystal. I went armed with three bottles of wine and the intention to drink at least one of them all by myself, due to the shibby news. Meeeeeguel met up with me and my lovely girlfriends for Chinese food and girly movies. I sincerely apologise to anyone (Bertine) whose movie experience(s) I disrupted. I was sleepy as hell and looped up on a bottle of wine. SCORE ONE FOR THE PANTS!

Friday, I got up at a reasonable hour (11am...lulz) and headed DT to meet up with Michelle. She's the one who helped me file my divorce papers oh-so-many years ago. She helped me file my harassment restraining order against Damian. I will write an entry on this adventure, as it was detailed, difficult, and necessary. I will never forget this day. I want to write the judge a thank you card. At the end of the day, I had a mini-SP event. Amanda and Bridgette were able to come, so we invited some people over for fun and RB. Amanda and Bridgette both had to leave early, due to illness and TV programming, in that order. :P Everyone was glad to meet A and B, and I'm so thrilled they were both able to come! Things got a little out of hand later in the evening. I still maintain this was all Asian Dan's fault, even though he wasn't there. Pantsless snow angels, camera flashes, and general craziness ensued after Asian Dan told us he wanted his bottle of whiskey to be GONE by the next time he came over. That guy... *shakes head*

Saturday, I got up at headed to Tiff's. I really like my weekend routine. It gets me out of bed at a decent hour, yet allows me to go out and party the night before. :) Tiff and I hung out till almost noon! I headed out to run some errands, hit Target pretty hard, picked up some sammich meat from Crystal, then came home to bake in my bathrobe for the skiers. The lovely Bertine was kind enough to bring me a can of baking powder. I am so grateful for that, I don't think she even knows. <3 When the skiers got back in town, we used up the ground beef that Chris brought on Wednesday and had BACON CHEESEBURGERS. I had Velveeta Shells and Cheese. :P I made neon spritz cookies, and we drank hot cocoa with Bailey's in it. YUMMO. We played Rock Band, as Jess and Ryan couldn't fathom my TV with anything other than RB playing on the screen. ;) We called it an early night, as everyone was fatigued from some hard slope hitting.

Sunday, I went to Tiff's and headed home pretty quickly. I spent much of the day lazing around in bed, not really doing much of anything. AMANDA AND CHRIS were the first RB attendees!!! I am so happy they came. :D Chris and Peter were the two newcomers. I hope we see more of them soon. :) Bertine even brought Crystal! We had a fairly large crowd, topping out at 15 people! I still am so amazed every week that all of my lovely friends come and cram themselves into my tiny apartment for hours on end. I <3 you guys, srsly. We celebrated Pete's 1/2 b-day with a tasty cake with HOMEMADE frosting that mah roommie made, as well as healthy snacks, and Bacardi-diets. A great time was had by all!

Monday, my Mom called around 9 or 10...I'm not really sure which. She had went to coffee with my Grandma (Doug's Mom) and had to tell me the news. Something about Darin being off from school, Grandma fighting with her sister (sad!), me going to Elk River tomorrow, and lord only knows what else. I hate it when she calls me so early! :P I tried to fall back asleep, but of course, the neighbor's dog started barking, as well as someone kindly running their chainsaw in the alley. Lovely. I did manage to fall back asleep, staying in bed till nearly 2pm! I am so lazy. :P I got up and did some business, ate some tasty popcorn, and headed to work. I got home around 9:45. Nothing eventful really happened at work, for which I am thankful.

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
10 February 2009 @ 01:58 am
Monday: Tried to go to the AQ with Corey. Turns out, every first Monday of the month is Poetry Slam, so no dice on the comedy. I did look hawt, but to no meaningful end. We got Burger King and chilled at my place for a bit. I stayed up and played RB solo...go figure.

Tuesday: Worked lunch at the Vesc. Didn't get out of there until nearly 3. I'm too cheap to pay for rush hour bus fare ($2.25 instead of $1.75), so I started to walk. I remembered that I needed to pick up some pictures from Walgreen's for my Grandma Lanie. It was her birthday on the 2nd. And yes, I DID call her on Monday. :P I ended up leaving Walgreen's with a HUGE bag of Valentine's goodies. I hope everyone watches their mail. ;) I walked across Calhoun and ALL THE WAY HOME. I was very cold by the time I got home. The Wifey picked me up to go to Tiff's for some Simon and Garfunkel goodness. We had a blast with Ceitius's hookah and Turkish Delight. TASTY!

Wednesday: Had another successful South Park Wednesday extravaganza. Wine and cheese were the order of the day. I picked up some Franzia and cheese in a can. GHETTO TASTIC! Jeremy showed up before the crowd and played a few songs with us. We now have a super sexy blue haired character to add to the band! The lovely Claire brought Taco Bell and her lovely self. We all oohed and aahed over her bento goodness. :D We stayed up WAY too late...as per usual. Jerry B. brought me a new mug from Suzi's--a Marlin. :P

Thursday: I worked 10:30-5ish. I headed out around 5:30, even though my replacement had yet to show up. I wanted to get home and have plenty of time to pre-game before DOLLAR TACOS. Mike and Amanda came over for beer and RB. Amanda is INTENSE. I can't wait to play with her again. Keep your eyes peeled for a special South Park (insert day here) featuring Amanda! Mike's friend Teri showed up after class and played for a while, too. Amanda left before she turned into a pumpkin, so it was just the three remaining characters that piled into Teri's smokin' hot Mustang to go get TACOS. They had BACON TACOS. I was a super happy camper. :) I don't think I went to sleep until nearly 5 the next morning, and even then, I only got a few hours of sleep, due to the fact that the neighbor's dog doesn't know how to respect my sleepy time needs.

Friday: Got up WAY too early after not nearly enough sleep. My Wifey came over to pick me up before a tasty lunch with Sarah B. at Ping's. I love me some potstickers. :) We also went to Target, and then to copy Sarah's keys so I can be a kitty auntie again! I love it that all of my friends have kitties. :) The guy copied the WRONG key, so we will have to go back next week to get it fixed. Friday night, I hung out with Jerry B. and made burritos. We made one for the lady at the grocery store, and brought her a daffodil. I think she was really surprised. :) We watched some League of Gentlemen...funny business! We also went to Aaron Gipe's going away party at the 1029. Good times were had by all. It was excellent to see Mike, Aaron, Dan, and yes, even Red. Wow, I'm old. Around 3am, I kicked a bottle of beer AT my TV, so of course, I couldn't fall asleep. :P

Saturday: Operating on FAR too little sleep, I got up and went to Tiff's a tad bit early. I boogied on out of there when I could, as I had to jet on off to Crystal's to carpool over to Ryan's for the ART SLED RALLY! We stopped and got some BK. I was craving fries. :P Made it to Ryan's in time to eat a quick bite of lunch, then hop in the van (and Bertine's car) to head on over to the park. We set up shop, skidded down the hill, and 12 seconds later, we burst through the poor sled. Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured. A few bumps and bruises, but nothing major. We drank some Premium at Ryan's house. I got good and drunkish by the time Mike arrived. We were off to a game night at his friend's house. Turns out, we were about six blocks from my house. I decided I couldn't handle bowling, and told Mike that I wanted to dip out of Jess and Noah's at a reasonable hour. We ate tasty Perogi (OMG SO GOOD), drank many beers, and played a few hilarious board games. Jess and Ryan joined us later in the evening. We stayed up WAY too late, as per my usual. Mike stayed over since he was FAR too drunk to drive, and was generous enough to allow me to use his van to go to Tiff's on Sunday morning.

Sunday: Got to Tiff's and most of the way home without incident. I stopped to pick up bread and to wash the damned windows on Mike's van, and when I went to start the thing, the alarm went off. I had to call Mike and wake him up for help. :P I came home and started laundry, breakfast (OMG BACON) and a jell-o cake. I got going too late and ended up leaving for werk without my serving apron. I also had to run most of the way there. BOO to that. At least it was nice out. Werk was busy as hell, even though we had two large parties in the back. I asked them to cut me since I was seriously falling asleep. Jess and Ryan came to pick me up, which was SO NICE. I made a decent amount of tips, so I'm a happy camper. SPS was kind of a downer--people spilled many beverages on the carpet, the mic broke, and I was really super over tired. SPW will be much better this week, I'm sure. :) Asian Dan, bless his crazy little heart, drove all the way to Lakeville and back with a mic for me to have. I owe him a big one. :)

Monday: I decided that it was time to come home for a visit. I called Mom last night in my drunkitude, and asked her if she'd be agreeable to picking me up in Elk River at the Park n' Ride. She said she'd do me one better--she'd come get me Monday morning and drive me around town. I am so happy she did! We went to OCB for lunch, and then to Best Buy to spend a gift card I had hanging out. I got three DS games for $10 (after the $20 gift card). They had a bunch of games that were on sale, with an additional 50% off that price! We scored big time. We had a tasty dinner, packed some items up for their trip to the post office tomorrow. I also worked on a resume and cover letter combo for a bitchin' job in my hood. I hope I get it. That would solve a LOT of problems in my world. Financial ones, boredom ones, routine ones...I need a job like this one SO BADLY. :D Wish me good thoughts.

It's now 2:30am on Tuesday. I've already got plans for the rest of the week...go figure. I'll try to update on a daily basis instead of a weekly one.

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
29 July 2008 @ 12:14 pm
In regards to the poll I posted, as to whether or not I should go out on Saturday, SHAME ON ALL OF YOU who voted I should stay in. :P It's a Saturday night, people! :P Even though I'm not huge on the whole club scene, I still had a great time.

Met up with Dan and his crew at Aqua in Downtown Minneapolis. We started off there with a really awesome bartender who did tricks and tosses a la Tom Cruise. The group decided it was time to boogie on out of there just about the time things started to get packed.

We headed out to Sneaky Pete's. This is my new favorite DT hang out! If anyone ever wants to go to a bar DT, this is where we will go. Awesome 80's and 90's music, cheap cover for a Saturday, cheap drinks. Awesome.

We stayed out till bar close at 2, debated going upstairs to Dreamgirls (free cover for those already in Sneaky Pete's, they are open till 4) but ultimately decided to go home.

Spent the night at Dan's, since it was close to Tiff's, and we were too tired to drive me back to SLP. His bed is HELLA uncomfortable, though. He told me in the morning that it's meant for peopel to sleep on their stomach. That would have been helpful information the night before! :P

I headed off to Tiff's at 10, went to Target afterwards to procure consumables. BACON, chicken sammich meat, Crystal Light, and other tasty goodies were amassed into my shopping basket, and paid for at the counter. I scored the most awesome Converse shoes EVAR, and I'm rockin' them right now. So great.

Tim, a friend from High School came over to change the oil in my scooter, which was great. The oil was pretty dirty, so it was definitely needed. El scoot still needs a spark plug, so if anyone has any info on that, it would be greatly appreciated. I know how to change it, I just don't know what kind of plug or where to get it. *sigh* I hope I get one soon. I miss scooting around town!

After that, ate a quick lunch at Yum! with Damian. Stupid, stupid, stupid, I know, but he was actually good company on Sunday. I even invited him to have dinner with me at Vescio's after werk. We ate and chatted, and it was ok. He ate a big plate of pasta, I had a little salad and begged off being full, because I had dinner plans. ;)

Dan came over [promptly!] at 8 for dinner and hanging out. He brought pasta, which I thought was silly, since I work at a pasta restaurant. :P Still, the sentiment was nice. He wanted to make dinner as opposed to ordering in or out. He cooked a tasty looking angel hair pasta with chicken and some really tasty cheese and crackers as an appetizer. He brought yogurt and berries for desert, which was great!

I had a very full weekend. :)

Let me 'splain. No, too much to 'splain. Let me sum up:

Had a nice time with the fam this weekend. I'm glad I went! I'm also REALLY happy to be back home. ;)

Tons of pictures to be uploaded to flickr sometime today or tomorrow. Keep your eyes peeled!

Time to take a shower and eat some FOOD. SO hungry!

Updated the to-do list for the week. Squeeze yourself in if you're free this week!

Best part about hanging out at Lund's aside from the comfy furniture and WiFi? Free samples! I got hella cookies and donut holes as desert to go with my five dollar footlong.

Life is good.

The Best Thing Since Sliced Bread
Yesterday, there was much fun to be had. I met up with [info]theophania_79 at her swingin' pad downtown for some Tarot Cards and Taco Bell. I ordered a FEAST for the two of us and only spent $10! Goodness, I love me some Taco Bell.

Tiff and I had a pretty good reading in my opinion. I've never had my cards read before, so I have no standard for comparison. Things seemed to fairly accurately reflect what's going on in my life right now, so I wasn't disappointed.

I headed out after we were done to run some errands. I bought a new digital camera that takes loads of video in addition to pictures. I'm stoked to try it! Chris and Jasmine, if you still have that Gorilla-pod thing, I'd appreciate it if I could borrow it from you for a test run on my scooter before I buy one of my own. :)

Sent a package to Nicky (it was her birthday yesterday...I'm a slacker) and an item to a lady from eBay. Good times! I just have to say that the automatic postage machines ROCK.

Later in the day, Aaron and I helped Tiff procure a Wii. She had been saying earlier in the day that she wanted to get one because it's a GREAT workout for her. She hasn't lost her breath from something other than sex in years! ;) Seriously, though, she said it was a great arm and cardio workout for her, even though she was limited in which games would actually work in terms of not having to use the buttons. I remembered that Target seemed to have them in stock, so I offered to pick one up for her before they ran out. I like to help out when I can. :P

Aaron and I delivered it to her domicile, and Aaron was kind enough to spend about an hour re-hooking up her entire AV section. What a guy!

Aaron and I didn't get back to his place till 10:30ish. We were STARVING, so I suggested DOLLAR TACOS at Chino Latino. Unfortunately, there were no BACON TACOS, but the ones we had were pretty tasty.

I don't think I made it home till almost 1, and then I stayed up to do dishes. My brother sent me a message on Facebook around 1am...didn't find out till just a few minutes ago. I hope he's ok...all it said was "Can we talk?" I'm not sure what that's about. I'll try to call him later.

I'm off to have a fully productive day. The lovely Amanda and my lovely self will be having a beer/pizza/wii/furniture party tonight. Hope everyone has a great day!

Wednesday, had a very lovely outing to the Rainbow Laundromat with [info]damncutekitty. Good times and much laundry fun for all parties involved. :) We also had an awesome dinner at Chipotle, followed by beer and jynnantonnyx at my place with Mr. Kitteh. I think he likes company. :)

Thursday, had an AWESOME time out on [info]iamrobertsworry's motorcycle. Woo! SBj = hot biker chick. Rock. Interesting note about Thursday--whilst waiting at Lund's in Uptown for Jesse to show, I ran into AMANDA!!! I helped her grocery shop.

SHALLOTS.

The Halibut is for Hiding. Not meeting people.

I greater than three Amanda. :)

After departing Uptown, we picked up his bike, then met up with his friend (Matt?), who also owns a bike. We went about 75mph on less traveled roads after going about 3mph on the more traveled ones. I think we ended up in Apple Valley? Watched the friend's uncle's skydive movie. Too cool, seeing a 50 year old dude jump out of a plane. They had an AWESOME house, too! Very nice peeps.

A very nice dinner was had and much BACON talk ensued. I even helped Amanda choose her bacon at Lund's. Mmm, BACON.

* Tonight--off to [info]eagon's birfday party at Lyle's. I'm thinking my dear [info]styletax might come with, which rocks, because we have much catching up to do, mostly in the beer and story telling departments.
* Tomorrow--werk, super special surprise, then SnB with [info]carinbrat and her peeps. Can't wait!
* The day after Tomorrow--werk, then quality time with my apartment and Mr. Kitteh. I need to do housework. :P

HAPPY FRIDAY!

I feel like Burgess Meredith in Grumpier Old Men. I'm totally having a BACON SAMMICH for lunch. All I'm missing is the beer.

For those of you who want a good deal on your BACON SAMMICHES, but don't necessarily like a BLT (as I don't), head on down to your local Subway and order said BLT. You can have WHATEVER YOU WANT ON THAT SAMMICH without paying $.60/6" or $1.20/12" for the bacon. TASTY!
